What Happens When You Delete Your Account
When you request account deletion, the following will occur:
- Your personal information (name, email, phone number) will be permanently deleted
- All saved calculations and data will be removed
- Your access to the Tex Clac app will be terminated
- You will lose any active subscriptions or purchased features
- Payment history will be retained for legal and accounting purposes (as required by Indian law)
Data Retention After Deletion
Some data may be retained for legal compliance:
- Payment Records: Retained for 7 years as per Indian tax laws
- Transaction History: Basic transaction details for accounting purposes
- Legal Records: Any data required for ongoing legal matters
All other personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.
How to Delete Your Account
To request account deletion, please follow these steps:
Method 1: In-App Deletion
- Open the Tex Clac app
- Go to Settings or Profile section
- Select "Account Settings"
- Choose "Delete Account"
- Confirm your decision
Method 2: Email Request
Send an email to: info.texcalc@gmail.com
Include the following information:
- Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
- Your registered email address
- Your registered phone number
- Reason for deletion (optional)

Provide your account details for verification
Processing Time
Account deletion requests are typically processed within:
- In-App Deletion: Immediate to 24 hours
- Email/Phone Request: 3-5 business days
- Complete Data Removal: Within 30 days
Before You Delete
Consider these alternatives before deleting your account:
- Temporary Deactivation: Contact us to temporarily disable your account
- Data Export: Request a copy of your data before deletion
- Subscription Cancellation: Cancel subscriptions without deleting your account
Refund Policy for Deleted Accounts
Please note:
- No refunds are provided for unused subscription time after account deletion
- Active subscriptions will be canceled immediately upon account deletion
- For refund requests unrelated to deletion, refer to our standard refund policy in the Terms and Conditions
